I haven't read anything from Marissa Meyer, Libba Bray or James Dashner either, so that's all cool, nor Marie Lu or in fact most of your list other than Sarah Dessen, I've read her and she's great! :D Fantastic list!
There are a lot of similarities between our lists. I would suggest checking out Sarah Dessen. I've been working my way through her books this year, and have found them delightful.
You haven't read anything by Sarah Dessen? Marissa Meyer?????? Or Marie Lu??? Fix this issue! lol! Start with Cinder by Marissa Meyer! We're in the same boat when it comes to the other authors.
Oooh, some of those are really well-known, though I confess I also haven't read those myself. Personally, I'd recommend Robin Hobb, though I should probably point out that she tends to write different series differently, so liking one is not a guarantee to liking another--I personally think this variety is awesome, but just wanted to point it out.
Shadow and Bone & Smoke and Bone I still have on my book shelf. I need to get to those soon, I have heard so many good things about them.. but seriously.. you MUST read Cinder , it is amazing! thanks for stopping by my STS. New bloglovin follower. ~ Katie @ Inkk Reviews
Laini Taylor is one of my favorite authors! I hope you get a chance to read her stuff soon - her style is gorgeous and her stories always have beautiful messages too! Marie Lu and Marissa Meyer are excellent as well :)
Great list :) We have a few in common. I'm going to start Vampire Academy this week though. Honest.

The only author I've read there is Sarah Dessen. I'm starting to realise how many amazing authors I've been missing out on!
ReplyDeleteI haven't read Legend by Marie Lu, either. Everyone talks about it, but I've never read them. You must read Laini Taylor, though; she's fantastic!
