There ...I really liked " The Winter Sea". There is definite romance in both time periods presented, and I can see why it would be classified as a romance, but I liked the historic/present time duel timelines of the plot and the plot itself. I would highly recommend it. This was the first book I read by Susanna Kearsley, and having read a couple more since then, this is to date still my favorite. I also read Throne of Glass, which was pretty good, but I started but did not finish the second book of that series, and doubt I will go back to it, for what it is worth... :)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4496447890475970330.post-83879452441364131972014-08-13T21:00:27.953+02:002014-08-13T21:00:27.953+02:00I've heard nothing but good things about Thron...I've heard nothing but good things about Throne of Glass, and I'm about to start reading the novellas. I mean, I can understand her not being for everyone, but I always thought she was such a badass (which is what I've read in most other reviews). The love triangle is there, but after the first book, it's not much of a focus. It's clear who she really wants to be with, and by the end of the second book, the love triangle is pretty much gone.
